Eagle Hollow Design, PLLC offers their clients superior service accompanied with state-of-the-art analysis and design capabilities. We will offer three-dimensional visualization services to reduce the possibility of spatial conflicts with architectural elements and other engineering disciplines. For established engineering and architectural firms in the North East who require structural engineering and architectural design sub-consultant services, Eagle Hollow Design, PLLC offers a competitive and economical option. Projects may be delegated to Eagle Hollow Design, PLLC directly or arrangements can be made to supplement and assist their own in-house staff.
Our People
Peter McCormack, Managing Director
Peter McCormack, P.E. has seventeen years of progressive and responsible engineering experience. He graduated from University of Southern Queensland, Australia with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering; and also holds an Associate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering as well as a Trade Certificate in Fitting and Machining. He has been a Project Engineer with a number of multi-discipline Civil, Structural, and Environmental Consulting Engineering firms; as well as a major Power and Water Utility. His experience includes project management, and engineering for both civil and structural projects. Peter structural engineering expertise focuses on log and heavy timber construction.
Peter is currently licensed in Arkansas, Kentucky, New Hampshire, New York, Massachusetts and Vermont; and is an experienced Firefighter trained at Hazardous Materials Operations level.
Kerri White, Design Services Director
After acquiring her Architectural Engineering degree from Vermont Technical College, Kerri launched her career working for an architectural supply firm. After Working for NCS she was recruited to work for one of the largest engineering firms in Vermont, Hallam Associates, Inc. At Hallam, Ms. White spent several years gaining experience in the architectural and mechanical fields designing layouts for several major semiconductor and pharmaceutical companies. Then, in 1998, Kerri decided to retreat to the woods of Vermont and started as an Architectural Designer for Real Log Homes®. At Real Log Homes® she accomplished a series of promotions first to CAD Coordinator, then manager of the Design Department in 2006. Currently, with over 9 years experience in the residential and commercial design fields, she specializes in new product development, International markets and commercial developments.
Outside the office Kerri enjoys hiking, full moon snowshoeing, baking with peanut butter and dreaming of the day she can hit a golf ball further than 200 yards in a straight line.
Mike Pomeroy, Project Engineer
Mike Pomeroy holds an A.S. in Architectural Building Technology and a B.S. in Architectural Engineering Technology from Vermont Technical College. Mike went to work for Real Log Homes in 2005 where he started out as an Architectural Designer. He then was immersed into the world of structural engineering. He moved up to become the Project Engineer in 2007. He is currently pursing his PE licensure. Mike brings knowledge in the areas of architectural design, log home construction, estimating, and structural analysis to Eagle Hollow. Mike has had a variety of design jobs, ranging from updating a 911 map for Oxford County where he grew up in Maine. He has designed a combination fire station/police station for Oxford County. Mike has also laid out plans for a horse racing track, and most recently, has been designing log homes for 3 years. His interests also include, mountain biking, four wheeling, snowmobiling, camping in Maine, and talking with the occasional anti-Yankee fan.
Mike Korsak, Project Manager
Mike Korsak holds a B.S. in Wood Products from the Pennsylvania State University and has worked in various capacities in the heavy timber industry. He began his career by hand cutting and raising timber frames with a small group of craftsmen in Pennsylvania. Mike then moved on to work as a 3d CAD designer of commercial and residential heavy timber structures with another firm in Pennsylvania that specializes in CNC machining of timbers and steel components. Mike brings his expertise in heavy timber design and installation, solid modeling, and CAD/CAM processing to Eagle Hollow as their expert in heavy timber design and CAD/CAM processing. His interests outside of work include woodworking, gardening, and daydreaming about the day that his Volkswagen Vanagon will be road ready.
